A breakdown of the resolutions being decided on the April 5th ballot by the Town Administrator and Town Clerk

Today we have Estes Park Town Administrator Travis Machalek and Town Clerk Jackie Willamson giving us an accurate breakdown of the ballot resolutions.

Then I give an impassioned opinion on why I think we should not keep the posting of public records in the local newspaper of record.

The below Resolutions were approved during January 11, 2022, Town Board Meeting and have been placed on the April 5, 2022, ballot:

• Resolution 02-22 - A resolution submitting to the voters the question of whether to permit the publication of ordinances by title only.

• Resolution 03-22 - A resolution submitting to the voters the question of whether to eliminate the requirement that payments of bills and statements concerning contracts and rebates be published.

• Resolution 04-22 - A resolution submitting to the voters the questions of whether the Town shall be authorized to collect, retain, and spend or reserve all revenues it receives from all lawful sources.
