About the Author

Raised by artists and computer programmers, Jason Van Tatenhove gravitated toward Colorado's punk and grunge scenes. His literary hero was Hunter S. Thompson.

Jason Van Tatenhove is an author, writer, and professional artist living with his family in the high mountain town of Colorado.

He has attended three universities for fine artwork, dropping out of each.

Jason was raised in a creative family. A third-generation artist and writer. His grandfather was a member of the Abstract Expressionist Movement in NYC in the ’50s and ’60s. Jason shows his fine contemporary artworks in galleries in Denver.

Jason was a staff writer for a local newspaper before launching his regional news outlet.

He lives with his girls, a pet wolf, and two cats in a world of creative chaos and beauty.
