I wanted to give you a quick update on something new I’m doing with They Knew, the serialized novel I’ve been writing here on The Colorado Switchblade.
Starting this week, I’ll be reading each new chapter aloud on YouTube—one per week, raw and real.
Why?
Because this isn’t just a story. It’s a reflection of what we’re living through. A warning. A reckoning. A form of resistance.
Fiction has always been a way to tell truths too dangerous—or too big—for headlines. And They Knew is the most personal, urgent fiction I’ve ever written.
This is my way of reaching a wider audience. A way of speaking directly to people who might never read a Substack post—but who’ll listen to a voice. A way to say: you're not crazy for feeling like the world’s on fire. You’re not alone.
