Join Me Wednesday: A Conversation on Extremism and the Future of Democracy
fI'm honored to announce that Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at 5:00 PM PT, I’ll be participating in the esteemed "America at a Crossroads" series, presented by Jews United for Democracy and Justice. This event series, free to view and open to all, has previously hosted distinguished speakers such as documentary filmmaker Ken Burns, former U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder, Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Anne Applebaum, and historian Jon Meacham.
In this session, titled "The Perils of Extremism," I'll share my personal journey into and away from extremism and examine the pressing threats these movements pose to society. Larry Mantle, renowned host of KPCC’s AirTalk, will moderate the discussion, bringing his expertise to what promises to be a thoughtful and engaging dialogue.
