Author’s Note: I was struck with inspiration tonight while watching a PBS documentary on Hemingway and listening to my kids converse on our deck after dinner together. I just had to sit down and write something that wasn’t on a deadline or planned for publication. I hope you enjoy my inspired, reflective bit of prose.
