More and more, it is becoming difficult for thinking human beings to continue to believe that we are the only intelligent lifeforms out there with disclosures happening around the globe, including our own confirmed leaks regarding the Unidentified Ariel Phenomenon through trusted news sources. We have also seen FOIA releases that show just how much money is being spent to study paranormal hotspots, such as Skinwalker Ranch in Utah. 

Now I will readily admit that I have a soft spot for these types of investigations. And will also admit to my own experiences with the Unidentified Ariel Phenomenon.

I had a chance to speak with filmmaker Alan Megargle. With his father-in-law, Ron Meyer (and owner of Centre Communications out of Boulder, CO.), they have produced a new film based on a growing new theory that examines a connection between Bigfoot, UFOs, orbs, and other inter-dimensional paranormal phenomena.

"I am a bigfoot investigator from Ohio, and I met Ron when he was working on a TV series called 'Chasing Bigfoot.' He had come out to Ohio and attended an event that I put on called Bigfoot Adventure Weekends, and we connected through that event." Megargle tells me about how he and Meyer first met. 

It turns out that Megargle was featured in an episode of the 'Chasing Bigfoot' series. Through his connection with Meyer, he met his future wife, Meyer's daughter, and has since relocated to Colorado to be with her and make some movies with his new family. 

"The more we started looking into things. We realize a lot of these Bigfoot sightings have unusual events to go along with them." Metargle says about the choice of subject matter. 

The first theory they came up with is; it's probably not an ape running around the woods. Megargle says;

"It didn't make sense for my experience. It has these qualities but, then that starts falling apart. When orbs begin turning into Bigfoot and other strange things are flying around the sky, and all the weird, weird phenomenon begin to happen during encounters."

"So the theory was born that maybe Bigfoot is inter-dimensional or connected to in some way the UFO phenomenon. So we set out to tell that story. In the first part of the movie, we begin to address the bigfoot subject at a high level. We didn't address the UFO phenomenon also at a high level. Then we intertwine the two together and bring it in with some investigations that we did at the end of the film. It's a look at melting those two subjects together."

The filmmakers were invited earlier in the year to speak at Squatch Fest, held in Washington state. They were the "weird guys" at the event, but they were a massive hit with fans, making it hard to get lunch because everyone wanted to speak with them after the showing. 

The new film has even garnered international critical acclaim at the Fortean Film Festival in the UK., where it won several awards, including Best of Show and Best Director. 

 The movie took over a year to produce and wrapped up right before COVID hit. During production, the team traveled to a few places across the country, visiting hotspots where UFO and Bigfoot experiences occurred. During these travels, they interviewed some of the best-known investigators in both fields of investigation, including; Stanton Friedman, Cliff Brackman, Bobo, Nick Redfern, Joe Hauser, and Nick Pope.

"We have a lot of interesting people that normally don't talk about these subjects," says Megargle. 

"The movie was premiered earlier this year at the Nebraska Bigfoot Conference in an IMAX theater, and the response has been overwhelming." Says Megargle.

"It is being very well received even though some of the ideas in the film are pushing the boundaries of things."

 Both filmmakers will be at the screening here in Essex park this Saturday at the Historic Park Theatre. There will be a question and answer session after the film, and merchandise, including T-shirts and movies, will be available.

 The two are already busy working on their next film, and a lot of work has been shot within 20 miles of Estes Park.
